Beryl’s Story

            Beryl's story began in 2012, with the launch of their founder Emily Brooke's Laserlight. Beryl's urban

            cycling products have been adopted by key bike-share schemes around the world - London, NY, and

            Montreal.

            Working with these schemes Beryl learned the challenges of offering bike share as a viable mobility
            solution, since then they have been striving to do things differently.

            Beryl is now proud of launching its own Beryl bike share scheme. Through their bikes and lights, they

            keep focusing on their purpose and tackling the barriers to urban cycling, improving our cities for all.



            Legacy

            Beryl was used to managing incidents, changes, and service requests through Slack messaging. As a

            rapidly expanding start-up, they grew to a sizeable operation, which was a testament to their strategy
            yet   Beryl didn’t have a foundation platform to manage their full ITSM lifecycle which was becoming
            increasingly important.



            Problem

            Beryl at the start of our partnership had several goals and challenges, firstly the organization needed

            an ITSM solution fast for the delivery against a new contract. Secondly, the organization needed a
            platform that could host multiple clients with complex data separation.




            Lastly, as a start-up company, it was important for beryl not to take on any technical debt.



            Encapsulating these requirements were also the need for a low-cost model and price point, which
            would scale
